Documents required for WBCAP 2024
Several documents are required to complete each admission process, some documents are mandatory without which the application process will not be complete and some are documents that you can upload if you have them. If you don’t have them then you can submit them to the college later during document verification. Below is a list of all these documents

what is the eligibility for WBCAP for WBCAP 2024?
All students who have passed the Higher Secondary or 10+2 equivalent examination are eligible for admission to West Bengal College.
Step-by-step online application process for WBCAP 2024
Students must have a valid email ID and mobile number before applying to the West Bengal Centralside admission portal. So that students can get information directly from the college via email or mobile phone. by mistake do not give any cyber cafe or relative’s number or email. Also, the rest of the process is given below
Registration: First, open the WBCAP registration portal and enter your email ID and mobile number, after entering your mobile number and email ID, an OTP will be sent to the email, verify with the OTP, and then get a login ID.
login Credentials: After registration, you will get a valid login ID and password which is your login credentials for WBCAP, you need login to the WBCAP portal with that ID password.
Fill up other details: Fill in other basic details like date of birth, guardian details, caste, address, blood group, annual income, mark sheet details, etc.
Upload Document: Upload all mandatory original documents with the mentioned sizes, do not upload photocopies or downloaded documents.
Eligibility Check: After completing the basic details and uploading the documents you will see the eligible courses and available colleges.
Courses & College Selection: West Bengal Centralized Admission Portal (WBCAP) has 461 colleges under various universities and around 7217 course options in various streams. Students can select based on interest from course and college lists which is very helpful for students. (You can select multiple colleges and courses as per your choice in this option)
Verify Application Form: After completing all the details the student must verify the complete details of the application filled by him, and do it very carefully so there are no mistakes.
Fee Payment: After completing the application process, students will see the option to pay the application fee. Payment should be made online through a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
After payment, you will see a payment receipt, which is proof of payment for the applicant process, download it and print it for future document verification.
If the payment is not successful, even after the money is deducted from your bank, do not make the payment again, wait at least 12 hours and then check the payment status, complain to the council through the helpline number 1800-102-8014 and then pay if not done.
Download Application Form: A form can be downloaded after completing the application process, download the form and take a printout.

Document Verification: In the document verification process your application form document will be verified by the council, if you upload the correct documents your application verification will be complete.
Merit List Generation: In this section, students will see the merit-wise rank among all the students, and get an idea of your position.
Seat Allocation: In this section, students will get three options,
- Where the student has to get admission to the college if he gets his 1st choice college.
- 2nd Option If one of the colleges below the 1st option is selected, the student must first take admission in that college, then can take an update option for the above option.
- The third option is if the student does not get a chance of admission to the college then he waits for the next round for admission.
Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation: Admission fees will be available on this portal after the college and course are selected. Payments can be made online through various options like Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, and UPI. Once the payment is completed, the payment receipt should be downloaded and printed
This will be repeated at each step if the number of seats in the college is vacant. So those who don’t get the college of choice in the first selected process, wait for the next notice so that they can take the opportunity to get admission to the right college at the right time.
